From red rock country in southern Utah. A place I spent some years, for a stretch, before the world tipped a bit and tried to buck me off.
I went back this spring, just ahead of the heat.
The light out there does its own thing at the end of the day—pulls everything into it, holds for a minute, then lets it go. The mesas catch it last.
